CGTalk - Character animation Question

Hi there.........ive got an bipped character......but everytime i try to animate it (just pushed Auto Key).......it says: Keys may not be set when in figure mode.
Anyone knows whats wrong here ?

btw. im using max 5

It's not that simple Stroker. This issue can occur even with figure mode off.
I've also experienced this bug, but in 4.2 (I'm now using 5.1, and haven't had the problem yet).
