i have to do something in fluids...but in maya we cant mix two fluids...
what can i do to mix two fluids??????something like pouring coloured paint in plane water....?
does anyone knows any plugin which is faster and more powerful for
doing fluids in maya.....

I suggest you try realflow. Not only it does an amazing job to create liquid but it's pretty easy to mix different fluid together.

is the default maya fluid in anyway useful....bcos if the fluids dont mix whats the use of a
wife who dont know even to make tea???:bounce:
because i was doing some RnD on maya fluids.....
is it better to shift from maya to realflow...
any suggestion

A wife might not be able to make tea but she sure knows how to please her man in bed. So despite the fact that Maya's fluids is actually crap at pouring liquids its great doing other stuff. Realflow on the otherhand makes an excellent cup of tea but lousy in bed, I hope that helps.

No probs :P I was a bit taken aback when I discovered that Maya Fluid's doesn't do liquids well also, and really it doesn't. Its looks more like a milkshake pouring but Im pretty sure you can still mix two liquids, they just have to be two emitters in one fluid. Having said that it does a sh*t hot lava simulation at the expense of huge render times!
Realflow is the best in the market at pouring liquids, IMO, so use both pieces of software on your projects, yeaah!
