Title: Journey Begin v2
Name: Pillard Nicolas
Country: France
Software: CINEMA 4D, Photoshop
This image is a new version of my entry on the "Journey Begin challenge". in this one, instead of suffocating buildings, I tryed to have a very evocative picture with freedom sensation... Something like a dream.
Made with Cinema4D, mattepainted and post-prod with Photoshop...
Comments are most welcome... ;-)
Thx

Great texturing and compostion. The characters pose makes him look like he's struggling for balance-like standing up in a small boat at sea- perfect for this image. Overall, conveys a sense of excitemnet and adventure. Well done, 4 stars.

Sorry for my poor English, it’s strange to speak with you in English rather than in French as usual…

Well, i finished the contest work in time. But after a few weeks of rest, i decided to restart in an other direction. I think this one is more expressive than the contest one, but i consider its another work. So no regrets for me ;-)

Really good, I like the detail of your image, it's a really complex image.
Only two things, the sole of the shoes could be better mapped and the air propeller have to be a little more visible, but it's a little thing.
Really Great Work

Very nice work!! Love the 50's style spaceship and the trees in the background.. I think it would look more action packed if he were stepping out of the window rather then leaning on the window sill like he was escaping from his room. Just my opinion.
I'm sure I had that dream when I was a boy.
I love the way he is carefully getting in.
Excellent image.
