Hey guys! I've been using maya a little now and the feature I like over max is the isoparm. Ok im not pro or anything so can't describe in detail but anyways in maya, lets say you make a nurbs sphere or cube and its 4 x 4 hulls, you can add extras isoparms and it will increase you're hulls. In max, im not sure how to do it. I mean, cutting wont work and make it a perfectly straight line all around the whole box/sphere. Im sorry if I did not make sense to some since I dont even know what I said ;) but for those who use maya, you might know. So is there a way with max? thnx alot.

I would liek to find sorta a thing like isoparms but for poly's instead if its possible. I havnt used max much so even little things can help ;)

ps. Im asking because I prefer max since it has many more features that I like and is more stable I guess :).

if you have a nurbs model, like a nurbs sphere as you were describing, and you can add what max calls rows and columns. you can go into the 'surface cv' subobject of the model. you then have options in the modifier panel to 'refine', or add row's and columns to the model. i think thats what your looking for
