Personally I think the art style is too anime. I wish they'd kept it more like the comic book style. Also, what happened to the Hellboy movies? After the first one I heard that they'd greenlit Hellboy 2 and 3. Has that plan been ditched now?

The sneak peak was pretty cool, but I do agree about the style. It looks like just about everything else these days. At any rate, it looks to be better than the movie, not that that's hard to do.

This looks friggin horrible! Its got nothing to do with the hellboy universe and the character designs are just stupid. The dialogue didnt help much either. Give me the amazing screw on head over this anyday.

It is somewhat of a shame that they didn't do it in the style of that short that SuperRune did back in 2003.

Still, Mignola did have a hand in who got chosen to do the character designs, and he didn't want somone to 'ape', his style.

Can't really argue with that.

Certainly... Screw-on-Head had far more style. This all felt so... pointless.

I hate to say it - but I completely disagree with Mignolas decision on this one. An animated film in the style of the novels would look absolutely stunning in motion. I got the novels moving inside my head - but no way of showing it to you :)

I probably shouldn't judge anything from this little clip, and the guys probably worked like hell (no pun) on this - but it looks devoid of style and originality...

Doesn't look like anything new :/

Did HB do good enough in the theatres to justify a sequel?
