View Full Version : can't paste paths into after effects

Hi there,
i'm on AE6.5 and I've pasted a jillion paths into after effects before on different computers. I'm working a gig right now and I can't paste this path I've made in Illustrator into after effects.

Is there some setting that could be preventing me from doing this? Or could sharing permissions on the computer be an issue?

It's as if After Effects doesn't want to acknowledge the clipboard, it doesn't even have the option of pasting under the edit menu. I can, however, paste the path into any other program (photoshop etc.)

In Illustrator, go to Prefs> File Handling & Clipboard

Select Copy As: AICB
