I am finishing up a Photoshop painting of a dragon... I still have a fair bit of work to do on the background and on general clean-up, but I would appreciate any critique/advice you can give on what I have so far. I'm pretty much a newbie at digital painting (or any painting, for that matter), so all help--no matter how small--is welcome ^_^

Yup ^_^. I'm in the process of a major overhaul in layout at the moment, but more detail and precise painting is in the works.

It's not bad. However the background I would redo. Add some clouds or maybe try some different colors. Nice work on the dragon though. I would say after added detials you may have something pretty cool to look at.

I reworked the layout and background a bit, hopefully it looks better now ^_^. It's nearing completion, but I still have the cleanup and details to do and remain open to suggestions.
