but I think he meant there's in no reflectivity on the pens themselves... like, that the blue pen will be slightly reflected on the red pen... just a tiny bit... it will add a lot!

Looks ok, but with scenes like this, if your going for photo real, you need some GI with acurate environment reflections(ie a nice HDRI, if your using Brazil).

Your Ground surface is too relfective, again when approaching photo real....Less is more. Maybe also add some slight dings or ink smudges to the markers.

On the modeling side of it your caps are slightly too sharp. See if you can soften some of the edges up.
