been messing with this today, started life as a box, then extruded, bevelled, conbobulated and grinded, should have a head done later on :)

I was gonna add blades on his wrists and perhaps make him evil looking, whaddya reckon? :thumbsup:

the rings around his knees and elbows are made of rubber with the mechanical bits and pieces hidden ( thats the theory anyway lol )

here he is all textured, I think he's pretty much finished, even has eyebrows, lol ( still not sure whether to leave them on ) :D

and I will eventually have some sort of tutorial available, it looks like that would take longer to make than the actual model, lol :applause:

Squid... you're one of my favorite artist! I love your proportions and texturing ability!

No crits, but I'm hoping you still plan to add blades on the the armor!

Where are your animations!?

I suck at animating :annoyed: I did a couple of tests with an older robot just using FK, it was pretty bad
I hope to get better though, I haven't played much with MOCCA yet, I need to force myself to read through the tutorials again :rolleyes: :bounce:

like carrot said i love your style and work. Alot of your models have alot of character, would be great to see them animated

looks awesome, im really curious, what kind of texturing methods u used for this one? was it done with shaders?

incredible, u have to be my fav c4d artist, i have never before seen anyone make something so cartoony, but keep it realistic, grrreaaat job squidinc! :beer:
