View Full Version : Dissappearing Floor
quasiagent1 07-18-2006, 08:19 PM Hello all, I'm having a bit of a problem rendering my scene. At certain angles/distances from the floor, the floor renders perfectly. However, if I zoom in too close, the floor dissappears. I use a simple polygon cube, but I've had the same issue with a polygon plane. Some people have said something about the angle of view and the near clipping plane, but I've adjusted the angle of view severasl times and changed the near clipping plane to .001, all to no avail. Help please!

is there any object close to the plane? try to put the value of the near clip plane to about 1 and the far clip plane to 1.000.000...

The floor is next to several buildings and the character that I am animating. The only object that dissappears is the floor, however. And unfortunately, the change in both far and near clipping planes appears to have had no effect. Thank you for the post though, keep 'em coming please.

Well, I seemed to have solved the issue. Under render stats, I disabled motion blur, and now the floor renders just fine.
