Long fun evening :)
This is 50% of worksize, 300 dpi.
Was planned to be a totaly different image but things got changed..
I would love all comments, CCs and suggestions as this is my first landscape/background image.
Im think on adding a girl or something standing on the top stone/tree diving..
Enjoy.

Wow! I must say that's pretty good, man!!! I really think your color choice was good! It is very realistic :) I think all you need to do is spend more time in doing details. Little things like creating the effect of lots of leaves and greenery around the waterfall helps to give the picture more, er... weight... :) Also think the sky could be livelier in terms of color...
The bits of red on the left was a nice touch :) Think I'll go stare at the pic somemore... hehe... well done!

great dude!!
i agree with PsychedelicMind. the thing is beautiful!
but it needs some detail... there are some loose lines which looking far away pass as twigs and branches... but it'd be great if they had more detail... like where they come from... and where do they end.
great dude! envy u! :P

Whoa.. that is.. just... whoa. Seeing more detail in it will be great fun!
I just have one crit... the ledge of the waterfall on the right seems tilted... I don't think that would really happen in nature, it looks almost like the water is kinda defying gravity. Nitpicky.:)

Yeah , that's great!!!
I agree with Psyche for the details too but u got a really got landscape dude!!
And maybe some character (just one or two) could be cool too, just accordin' to your two lil' red eyes...this beast looks alone, give him company!

very nice, please don't add a diving girl

Brilliant, I love it! It does need a little more colour in the foliage on the sides I think, that's my only suggestion. More flowers or something, and maybe one of those long tailed birds flying in the sky above the waterfall!
No diving girl! I think the mood is great at present!
Still it's a beautiful piece, you should be proud!

It looked so peacefull in the first one, now it looks violent and power, im not sure which i like better, they are both great though :airguitar

Both look outstanding. I really enjoy the latest one though, I love the boldness in the lines and the contrast with the water and the green foliage. Although it somewhat ciontradicts the boldness approach maybe add more water dissipation in the air give more a of a ~heavy~ mist, not to light. This will help bring more of a jungle look perhaps? Both look amazing. Maybe now try for a panoramic view of a jungle valley!

i think just a single silhoutted figure (small) on top of the rock would be great. maybe more differentiation between sky and water too?
other than that... WOW! excellent work.
Hiya,
Both pic is nice to me, but I really miss the (bigger) vapour, fog, clouds (call it whatever... :) ). Waterfalls does not have this sharp form.
I know it's a draft, and this was only a suggestion... ;)

It is really Amazing, but the falling water at some points looks more like spiderwer (not Spiderman web), yet i still think it fits very well with the rest.
