I have heard that this is a possibility... i am myself orientated in hardware and theoretical this should be possible... but can anyone give me a detailed description how to do it?

In case you got default PCB layout, this should work, but get back and tell us your manufacturer.

R121 --> R122
R123 --> R124

Hmm. I am fairly certain that I read somewhere recently that nVidia has smacked down such mods in their recent driver releases. Better check before you whip out the soldering iron.

Actually the softquadro is the better decision, but nope nvidia canīt do anything in the drivers to differ between Quadro 2 Pro original one and resistor modified one, cause they are 100% identical.

I had to get older detonator drivers 3.1.4.0 to get it to work under XP properly.

rivatuner and softquadro will work for every single driver release up to and including the 40.71.

for later drivers, you need to apply a patch. it is fully documented in the README included with the software.

RTFM people! you'd be amazed at what the program's documentation can tell you! :thumbsup:
