No, it´s absolutely not badass. It´s very cool and I like your colouring. THose warm brown colours are great. I like! =)
What irritates me a bit is the DoF. It makes the house appear to be very small, more a toy house and it doesn´t fit the perspective that well. Other than that, great! And your white frame on the first pic is a very nice idea! =)

I like your work but DOF is very strange. You have no DOF on first image (with white frame which is nice for web page but not here where you want to show some details). Nice colours. Try also with blue light for outside and leave yellow inside.
