This is not an official Pixar poster, is it?

The backlit water and spiraling school of fish seems like a total rip-off of the title sequence in "Help I'm a fish" (Danish animated feature).

Well, Pixar movies have never been about complexity as much as story and what it takes to get the job done. The complexity of certain scenes is a necessary side effect. Besides, I'd like to see YOU animate a huge school of fish! Heh, I know you were just kiddin around but still...

Nemo is going to be great methinks, it's just too bad there doesn't seem to be any other great CG flicks comin up to challenge is for supremacy... now where's PDI?

Another thought occured to me, I heard a long time ago before any details about Nemo "surfaced" (sorry for the pun, heheh), that the guys at Pixar decided they had had a hard enough time with the fur and visual effects in Monsters Inc. and wanted to do something easier for their next film. So they chose fish. HAH. Story continues how they soon found that it was obviously no picnic and probably the most challenging picture they had yet worked on. Lord knows if that's true, but I did hear about it a long time before the name Finding Nemo ever came around and it was only know the basic subject of the new film. Gotta respect Pixar and what they get themselves into!

Actually, those fish look rather good to me.. sure they could've added a bump map to the scales, but I think they look just fine... especially since they are going to be in motion.

I can't wait for this film... it looks really pretty.

I've always like pixar's lighting.
