View Full Version : Model - Buster Bunny
tootalew 01-18-2003, 09:47 PM After seeing Plucky, I thought id give buster go. Mostly for practice. He took me about 16 hours to model start to finish. I have not rigged him, i will save that for a later date. I am trying to hone my skills modeling single mesh characters right now.

I think your right when you said you said he is blue. Yes I used a referance to create the model, and it was black and white. Welp he is blue now.

could you post the refs?
either the refs are bad, or you only need to work harder on his face

Not sure if i can post the ref i used here. I pulled it down off the web. Its the wb model sheet for buster...but nothing lines up coerrect. Fell free to state what you think is wrong, I take critisism much better if its to the point.

phew....i'm wondering, that a wb reference sheet can be wrong...ok, i haven't seen so much of them, but i don't think, they have mistakes in their own references
ok...the eyes....i hope i'm not wrong but i think, the should be pulled a little bit more back on the top and then also be a bit more round
the nose is too seperated from the face....it look's like it's only plugged in his head(don't know how to describe it better)...there should be a smoother transition between face an nose
the cheeks are going too flat to the mouth....i would make it a bit rounder
the transition from cheek to cheek looks weird in my opinion
there are only 2 hairs....and the directions aren't so right
last but not least the two teeth....you can only hard see, that they are 2 and not one big(especially in the 2nd pic)
sorry, if it's a bit hard to read....english's not my native language, and it's a relativly long time ago since i really wrote/spoken in english

Hi,
You've got a good start.
But still needs a lot of work.
Here's a reference photo in case you need one.
peace,
