View Full Version : Grafik driver for MAYA Manipulator problem.

Hi, I was wondering if you can change the grafik driver (opengl Direct3d) in MAYA? I have an GF4 4600 and was wondering witch one would be best and if you can do it?
Somthing seems to have happened in PLE also... The manipulators for scale rotate and so on are alwas "big" i can't drag them as fat as i want because the go out of screen and sometimes if i chose rotet the manipulator is so big i can only se half the circle/globe... It was not like this before but i must have accidently pressed some hotekey or something.. Thanks ;)

Just try "-" and "+" to manage the size of the manipulators.

Thanks... That was becoming a litle problem and quite irretating when im trying to learn ;)
Anyway to change the grafics driver? And what i should choose for my GF4 Ti4600.
Oh yeah.. i found the colour preferences under the window section but i can't find where you chang the main panels colour? not the bakround but the main Maya grey one.. Don't like the standard windows grey ;)

The pannels? Like the viewport background color?
Windows>settings/Prefrences>Colors>3D View



Or if you mean the general interfase color, then thats adopted from your windows color scheme, change it and maya will follow...that is, if your running maya on windows :p

Ok.. Didn't expect it to folow windows on that, as it is so custimizable on everything else. Thanks again for the help.
