I do really love the texture. Reminds me of a Protoss. Very nice.
Definitely would like to see how you went about this, its excellent. I also would like to ask what a higher pixel resolution does, I can never seem to get the my paintings as sharp as I want them.

Alevice: Yeah, maybe i have a starcraft influence, but i think more in Glacius from Killer Instinct (a great game when the super nintendo was the best :P).
ndat: Here's the wips images. I've started it from a quick and clean sketch an then, finished as the first pic i've posted. An easy draw, very very simple, to a nice work of color.
The pencil draw was only a layer in photoshop as reference.

The high resolution is for press... or for print hehe no doubt, but anyway, is very good to have the image bigger, is more for bigger details, more work, etc. I love bigger images. i can reescale them and do more things with them :D. You can obtain a good sharp image doing it in a big size and then reescaling it.
I guess you understand me, i haven't got such vocabulary and my english sux :p
thanks for all your comments.
Salu2!
