Is it possible to model with specular and reflections in the viewport?

If so how?

Not sure I guess he means something like the enviroment mapping for modeling as found in Hexagon for example. Can be quite handy to make really smooth surfaces.

I should have been more specific.

I mean reflections not specular?

I have a white plane i am using for reflection on a car model (see other thread) and i want to be able to see the reflection of it in my viewport on the car model.

Is this possible?

no, the only thing you can do is to bake the reflection, but then you must not change the camera.
