I will set up soon a render farm for a friend... i allready have some experience with screamernet... i ask you now what is the best network-renderer for LW at the moment? Is there one avaiable where the local-path dont have to match the ones on the other nodes?

I agree, Lightnet is very cool! I have been using it for years now, and it has (almost) never let me down. In the last version you are even able to change the network content directory for each qued scene. Very cool!

It´s free and very easy to set up compaired to the other network rendering solutions I have tried

cool, well I have lightnet, but I have many problems setting it up, because the computers don't find each other....can you help me with this?

I don't really know that much about networking, but it might be some problems with you ip settings and stuff.

I just followed the tutorial that comes with the program
