Hi guys,
I have the following in mind: a plane is bombed by particles, and on collision, parts of the plane are erased. At the end of the story, a logo is revealed - see image in attachment: on the left the object at the start, on the right the object at the end.
I tried to do this with the explosion deformer, but it didn't give the result I had in mind.
So my next try would be TP. What I would like to do is:
(a) fill the holes in the geometry with a particle grid, and attach cubes to the particles. this gives me the result which you see at the left side in the image
(b) particles hitting the object, and thus colliding with the static particles (or entering an influence zone around the static particles). This can lead to some kind of reaction (light flashes, particles being pushed away, anihilating the static particles, whatever)
(c) at the end of the story, I have my logo.
My question is: can I create a particle grid with TP? Or is there another way to achieve this in C4D?
Cheers,
BaRa
