This is a duck that I just made 2 days ago, still I dunno for what it will be , a mate of mine working in London asked me for a samples of my work , the idea was to make a streetwise Duck illustration, it was more simple to me made straight away a proposal, that looking for old files on my hard drive , due that I had not make illustration on some time now.
I sent it , got some feedback , (the mean look, the cigar and the gun was after the feedback) still waiting if they will take it or not , hope they do I need the money.
I will appreciate al ot some feedback from you guys, basically my technique is drawing the sketch on paper, then scan or take a digital pic of the sketch and start tracing it on Flash MX , I found years back, since mx, very easy way to manage the lines here, then after drawing it on layers part for part , I exported as PNG on photoshop , then shaded as I feel is correct, I really still need more experience on the direcction of the light and the kind of stuff, However I am quite happy with the result.
Hope you guys can write me some lines on how I can improve my work. Thanks for all you that are an inspiration for a newbies like me.
