Hi there all,

Well this is the first character i've started on since i finished my showreel (link in sig).

I only managed a day and a half's work on him before i broke my collar bone so he's on hold for now. I'm getting used to the painkillers and i'm not so dizzy all the time. My arm is in a sling but i can just use the mouse on my lap and its getting easier and easier, hopefully i won't be out of action to long.

Original concept is from an old rpg i played many years ago. The plan is to make the little cute teddy bear creature and do a little animation of them together, maybe of him disintegrating the bear (thus the evil genius title, although he's actually going to be abit dopey and bungling)

Head, arms and gun are all modelled + theres a simple displacement map from zbrush for veins on the head. The body/cloth needs figuring out yet, how i'm going to model it so it animates nicely.

Did a quick toon test, and a more realistic render, but the veins came out crazy strong.

Anyway, pictures below, comments and crit more than welcome (i'm starting to get the hang of this one handed typing :) )

hehe, i like the concept very much, he is a cute little badass :buttrock:

also your progress on the color map is going well.

only thing to crit from my side are his cloths. they look very flat and straight. you could model in some wrinkels, so it looks more natural at all.
