I had a chance to do some sketching today, This'll be a demon, but not necessarily evil. I'll fill in a tad later. He sewed his own eyes shut though for the benifits of not relying on sight, more in tune with his senses, although demons have super-senses already I guess, heh,heh, but this should be just fine. nothing is really filled in yet, but that'll come soon enough.

Well, i got a chance to do some modeling, I think I decided to do a god rather than a demon, same head, and more details to come, but I'm changing some of the proportions from the sketch.

Ok heres an update, I refined the torso... the bitmap is just for fun, its not the real one I'll use.

...... (crickets chirping)... heh,heh, here's another update, the last of the torso I promise, but I finally got it where I want it, don't know if I'm gonna do the arms or the head next, I can't wait though :scream:

by the way, this is a LW6.5 GI render, does any one have any tips for improving the render quality???, I can't stand those smudges all over everything (there's no bump map or color map on this dude here, the render is just making it look that way.

arms are there, forearm not detailed yet and today I've been working off and on with the hand, well, I guess it's already tommorrow, heh,heh

Nice shape of the model, very good progress so far,
you need to add more details, form the muscles a bit more

thanks wraith and Hmura, I've been searching for spare hours to model, heh,heh

here's a pic of what I've started for the head, the eyes'll be sewed shut still, but this one, again, will be a god, not a demon, so he is suppossed to look friendly

Okaaay, I did a quick paintover to see where I was going with this, and I kinda like how he's lookin so far, I still have to finish off the head, but I was gettin' bored, now back to that though ;)

Great start! I know what you mean about crickets :D:D (about to bump my damn thread fo the 3rd time tonight :() Anyway . . .

I think his cheeks could be a bit flattter to reflect the drawing, also cleft, but I'm sure tha's just be cause it wip ;) Just make sure to make him Demonic !!
