It's been awhile since I've tried my hand at hard-surface modeling of any sort and a friend suggested recently that I attempt Megas from the show of the same name.
I had nothing else to do at the time, so I figured 'why not?'
I'm pretty happy with the results thus far, tho I'm not adverse to hearing any C&C I'm sure you guys can come up with.

Time taken: about 17 hours total
Tools used: Lightwave 8.5, Photoshop

The materials could use more work. There could be more contrast between the blue and yellow paint. Darken the blue paint. The bare metals can have a mask to break up the specular, and could use some kind of reflection map. The paint can also be rubbed off slightly along the edges.
