Model of the 1998 Panoz Esperante GTR-1 LeMans prototype car I am working on. Thought you all might like to see it.

Exterior details are mostly done - just working on interior now. When finished the door will fully open.

Doing this out of a love for racing and car design. I did a low poly version of the Panoz LMP-1 for a game (on my site) and really liked it so I wanted to do the enclosed cockpit version from earlier years. I really like the Batmobile styling of it.

would love to hear your thoughts.

looks very good. I'd like to see what the final version would look like though - with all textures and adds on it.

Thats some nice modelling, give it some nice textures, a race track and an animation of a massive crash! Now thats entertaiment!

Excellent job modeling! Those door seams are insanely shaped, you handled it very well! What software did you use to model it? Great job, now add some nice paint!:D

I've looked over your model and it looks clean. I wonder what u used to model...Rhino? I like the flow of the design and the seams look clean, especially where it curves which is bit of pain in the butt. Anyway, I do like the shape of Panoz, but my fav's are '98 Mercedes GTR-LM and '99 Audi Coupe, the closed top. Anyway, looking forward to your texutred version. Ed--

Sweet modeling! :D Definately model a environment for it, and light it up, cause I can just imagine the wonderful reflections and shadows this geometry would create :)

do the mirrors come out of the glass like that?
I really love those hinge cuts on the doors and the little stuff all over it,,, I'm gonna have too do this too my Titan car..

I almosted pooped myself when I saw this.. great stuff,,
