she doesnt really have any kind of under lying rib cage, and her midsection seems long. But its hard to tell with the distorted camera perspective. Boobs are looking alright though.

natural boobs are kinda like a tear drop shaped and sag a little(or a lot) when the fake ones look like there defying gravity. they seperate like a upside down v. her midsection looks like shes anorexic!(sp?)hope that helps.

the tutorial was not on actual anatomy, just an comic or abstract character, that explains the small mid section. thanks for the tips guys

Is that the Joan of Arc tutorial? If so, you may want to check out the link in my signature. There's a whole bunch of us doing that tutorial in that thread.

And I can feel your pain on the boobs. At one point, I had a vertex or two off, and her boobs looked like lumps that had been punched. Her butt looked all weird too. But on the whole, you've done a really good job. Keep it up!

You are so right drunkirishmic, recently after a bout of what can only be described as madness I started my first female model. I say madness because after 9 years of heavy 3d, I have always known that a subtle female form is the Holy Grail.

I too used the joan of arc tutorial to give me a guide for pulling the verts, and one of HawkPreys excellent drawings for the model guide.

I'll get to the point, if I saw the woman I modelled approach me with breasts the shape she currently has I would have walk the other way. Without a doubt they have to be the hardest thing to model.

Maybe its because as men we spend way to long looking at them and lusting after them that when it finaly comes to modelling a pair nothing short of perfection will do.

I going to play with my LOTR character for a month or two before I go back and try surgery on the 'said pair of breasts' again.

I feel your pain.
