Duck Crossing, a short story about a group of ducks that leave their home in a public park area to go travelling. They encounter crossroads on the way and have to, safely, get across avoiding the many dangours that await them.

This is my second bit of animation I've done. I'm still studying and this was from my second year. It's all cellshaded, however you may notice some dodgy artifacts due to the lines, please bear in mind that I fixed alot of them, but ran out of time trying to get them all. Having used it has told me never to do cellshading again.
*Note* All the cars are the same as they represent minis me and one of my friends have owned in the past, it's not just a copout.

This project was made in 3DSMAX 8, thanks for viewing :).

High Quality (Quicktime h.264) 7mb (http://www.ashgibney.com/animations/duck-newage.mov)
Medium Quality (YouTube) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD17gk_WYIc)

I recommend YouTube, because even though it's smaller res, it's still sharp and you help my bandwidth :).

There was also a second version catered towards my tutors, which is exactly the same, but the backgrounds are slightly different, so if you're interested:

And finally when I got sick to death of this project I made this bit of randomness:

Thanks for watching. Critisim can be given and would be helpful advice for future projects.

hehe

like the animation, really cute and funny...

ending wasn't too good... hmm dunno why actually...

the cars were almost too detailed and the logo in the very beginning needs thicker lines...
overall... great piece!
