hi,
just downloaded the hotfix 1 for AE7.
does anybody know what will be fixed?
i had so much trouble with crashed renders. fixing this would be great.
but besides this im pretty curious about other improvements as well.
cant find anything at adobe.com

From what I gather from Adobe:

When you import an AVI file into Adobe After Effects 7.0 that was captured using an 8-bit YUV codec, such as the Blackmagic YUV codec, After Effects displays an unspecified error message and then closes.

and

When you import an Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 project into Adobe After Effects 7.0, After Effects displays the following error message and then closes: "After Effects can't continue: sorry, After Effects has crashed. See http://www.adobe.com/support/products/aftereffects.html (http://www.adobe.com/support/products/aftereffects.html) for known issues. If you still can't resolve the issue, please contact Adobe Technical Support (2). (0::42)"

Where can i get this Hotfix, because i have this problem with the blackmagic captured Material.

the adobe updater did it automaticlally. canīt find it at adobe.com.
donīt know how to force an update...
who knows?

Force an update:


Start Adobe Help Center
Goto the top-right hand corner & click the general Preferences button
Click check for updates

That is the Adobe way to get the update. AFAIK Adobe will no longer give out downloadable updates via Adobe.com due to the rapant piracy of there software....
