This is my first work I've published.
I got inspired by the transformas-trailer and I tryed to created a good looking earth, as seen in sci-fi movies.

Your earth definately needs an atmosphere.
Hereīs a good tutorial on how to do it. Itīs for Max but should also help with C4D.

hey, thanks for the nice reply.

@Banshee: Thanks for the tut. I really thought about an bright and glowing atmosphere.
But there are 2 reasons against:
1st: I searched for several real earth-pictures taken from space and on every picture you don't actually see the atmosphere. It is more a gray-blue "fog", just the way I have it in my image.
2nd: This is (somekind of) art. Art allways as a deeper meaning. And when you think about the meaning of a missing, bright and shiny atmosphere, you will see that not everything is so bright and shiny as we wish it would be. ;)
