View Full Version : Xsi Scene Manager v1?
Devils1stBorn 07-11-2006, 03:49 AM Is this the only tool XSI has to offer vs. Maya's scene utility?
There is nothing Softimage provides?
Thanks.

Mind explaining what the scene manager is? I've never heard of it.
Do you mean the "Project Manager"?

Maybe he's referring to the schematic? Or the External Files manager?

Sorry...
I've been out of Maya so long know I forgot the name...it's not the project manager...
It's a utility that cleans up your scene...deletes unused curves, geomotry...and more...
I thought this may be the same as that utility...
I'll find out what it's called again...

Ah, you mean 'scene optimization' in Maya. Good question. Although I find that XSI doesn't seem to trip over itself quite so much when a scene becomes complex. There isn't so much of a "delete by type: history" philosophy.
