Hi giggidy,

to your eye-problem:
1. raise glossiness a little to make the eyeball looks a bit harder/wetter.
2. give your shininess-map an irregular map for make the eyeball looks more realistic.
- in accordance to Session of leigh (first topic) draw a map with some different greyscales but no greytone over 80% (just try for the right). Vary some tones til you'r satisfied.
3. if there are reflections active, just give it a bit, maybe not more than 5-10% to strengthen the glossiness/wet-effekt of the eyeball.
4. and, just like leigh said, and a blur-effekt on the reflection if its possible on your program.

try it...
