Hoi
gonna give this one a shot.
Heres my first draft for a race description (might change..)

Willochs

Willochs is a race that stand ca 1 feet tall. Theyre aboreal. Their skin can change color and structure according to the enviroment their in.
Attacks unsuspecting victims by launching themself from the high treetops, gliding down on their "wings". Their saliva contains a toxic that stun the big orcs, and kills hobbits.
They eat the flesh out their victims, dead or just stunned.
They have slow growth rate and therefor lives for a long time, but unfortunately (for them) theyre not the sharpest tool in the shed, and misdrops occur alot so the mortallity is, unfortunately for them, quite high.

"sketches" to come...

Looks good, but maybe a little more size to spice things up a bit,I think 1 foot is too too small for this type creature, but maybe that's just what will make it speacial,so proceed. Anyways it looks like a good start for you.:)

Thx for comments and good luck wishes :)
I hope to work some more on him today.
Hyeanas...didnt think of that when I started the idea ;) It was more flying squierrels/bat...
Gregwid: I wasnt sure about the size, but i felt that making them small gave them a more sleazy, creepier apearance.
The name idea, if anyones interested..., comes from a Norwegian review of LOTR TTT, where they said that Gollum looked like a crossing between E.T. and a former primeminister in Norway named, Willoch, cant say that I agree with that, but the name of the pm was ok for lotr char/race :)

didnt use him for any ref. just his name :)

Still going slow....

Anyway, i decided to make another head.
A few things has been pointed out by friends:
1. How does he breathe when gulping meat, since he have no nose. My solution, i didnt think of this from the start, Jacobsen's Organ, like some snakes have, like a snorkel.

Ppl also thinks the mouth looks bit off, i can agree, but not put my finger on it...going blind...

Michael, so far so good on your arboreal goblin creation. Don't worry about fluffing the deadline - loads are in the same boat;). Anyway, it'll be a nice one to finish in your own time.:)
