Does anybody remember/have/use Deformer XT?

It was a plugin that automatically fit Deformers and their bounding boxes to selected objects/selections? It was made by Idea-Graphics and I believe the developer passed away a couple years ago. Does anybody still use it (or) know if it still works (or) know whether it would be worth asking Maxon to include this feature in future releases?

Just a long shot... I'm using deformers a lot more these days and that plug just makes so much sense. It was a great idea that would prove to be a real shame if lost forever.

Every time I apply a deformer and have to manually adjust the scaling into a rough bounding-box, I remember DeformerXT... It would be a great little workflow improvement.

DeformerXT's serial is locked to your C4D serial so even if it did work you wouldn't be able to use it.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I'll look into writing a script that will get the job done. I know it's a pain in the butt to resize them manually. Unless someone already has something that will do it.

I could swear I've seen something, possible by Per-Anders, around.
Have a search.

Some years ago there was a little PlugIn called FFD-Fit.
It works still in CD9.6.
But I dont know if the Site still exists and its only for the FFD and i think it was shareware or for free.
Maybe someone remembers.

I know FFD fit, but its only for FFD's i remember, would be nice to have something like "SHIFT+KLICK" a deformer and the deformer gets the size (axis direction taken care) of the object.
