Marvellous image... BUT - I would love it much more if the one accused of the cheating was the only one who did NOT cheat.

Simply removing the cards from his sleeve would make it a much more interesting (and funny)!

Thank you every body's opinions,in fact I really want to express the dramatic action .About the acters,I hope it's all the westerner in the firstling,but it's so difficulties to find the
references answer to all the characteristic.For example, the age,the gender,the angle,the light and shade

So only the actor's face in "King Kong" is answer to what I want after I fond in many movies,the other acters is my friends.The point is the facial expression,he or she have to do the right facial expression what I want,than I take photo and choose that form many pictures, it is take much time ,below is just a part of the references of the characters.thank you very much!

Yes, beautiful lighting, and great work on the expressions and action in the scene. It's wonderful.

My only critique, as someone else already mentioned, is that I wish the cards that the other players are hiding were more subtle. I think you could take the opportunity to make it more of a game...people will want to look at it longer and find all the hidden cards if you make them less obvious. I found myself wanting to search out all the hidden cards but I found them all so quickly it was kind of disappointing.

But otherwise it's a beautiful painting and a great idea! :)

I wanted to create that, in a chaotic market, there are four thugs gambling, and one of them gets caught cheating with cards hiding in his sleeves. But actually, the other three people are cheating too!

I collected lots of references about the setting and characters from movies and others, and asked my friends to take some pictures of people. In the process the poeple's poses had been changed a lot. The settings were also changed twice, mainly between European and Middle Eastern style. The light and atmosphere were also fine tuned for a long time.

I spend more than a month to complete this idea.Hope you like it.suggestion and advice is welcome,thanks.

Very nice painterly quality. Reminds me a bit of N.C. Wyeths "Treasure Island" work. If the style was any more loose it would be very similar. Your attention to lighting is wonderful.
