Thats pretty cool, but this could just be me but, i think the reflections on the orange parts are bit too much.

Good Job!

Great work! great modelling and shading, it looks pretty realistic.
I only have one crit: all insects, including butterflies, have 6 legs. if it does not have 6 legs, it ain't an insect.

anyway, beautiful work man!

Great concept. I really like it. And I'm willing to overlook the fact that it only has 4 legs becasue it's robotic (therefore it's not really a butterfly to begin with).

My only crit is that the DOF blurr looks a bit odd. It doens't look like a true narrow DOF - it looks like it was added pots render - which is fine, it's just that it doesn't seem to match what camera optics would generate. It looks like a circle of blur is surrounding the robot. I think if the far leg wasn't blurred where it hits the leaf... or perhaps if there was no blurring outside of the background beyond the leaf I think it would work more to your advantage.

Overall: great job!

I have to agree on the DOF issue. But you really have to look at it for awhile to notice. Since it is a robot the leg issue is not a big deal, the way the robot is laid out six legs would have been awkward.

It is a very nice job - good work.

Very nice work, though 4 legs! Crisp render, nice compo, nice lighting.

Only thing that bothers me is the jagged shadow, it looks like the AA setting for the shadows is way off.

otherwise very cool

4*
