View Full Version : Animation: short film "Insight"

This was done as a school project ... took approx 2 days to render all 3D on two fairly good machines (1-2GHz, 512MB RAM). Everything made in Maya (with MR) and composited in Shake.
(Since we never mentioned them in the film, maybe we should at least do it here: Music by Amon Tobin and Japanese Telecom).

the simulation of the monitor is great ;)
but i think, the camera is wiggling a bit too much sometimes
to be honest, the middle part(about 1,5 minutes) is a bit drowsy(at first i thought, this repeating would never end lol)

but the idea of the movie is really good :)
and the realization with this simple object is also a nice thing....looks like modern art or something like that

pretty neat...a a few too many repetitions

Simple, to the point. Overall a good pice of work.
