Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that I've finally decided to post my film online...the whole film festival thing was o.k....but, the whole point of making the film was to get the most people to see it...and well, this is how to do that - thanks CGSociety.

Anyway, here is a link to the film's website where you can view the film

Dmaxer, I'm very glad you liked the piece...however, the boys survival is open for interpretation. It's really about how we percieve it..you know, whether the glass is half full or half empty. peace :)

Wow!! This was a great peice of animation.
The message behind the peice is very touching and appealing. I felt his desire especially in the dream sequence. I loved that part where he flies vertical on the building, uprights himself and flies straight up. That reminded me of being a kid and wanting to fly like Superman. :)

I also loved the textures, shading and warmth of the environment. Many people do not light as well as you did. Most people always have that dark look on their animation.

This however was bright and beautiful. I loved it and really loved the texture work.

I hope this peice gets more recognition. I think you just posted it in the wrong place. :) This forum section does not get the views it should, especially for great work like this. :)

Cool...thanks Flog. I really appreciate your comments. My focus is texturing and lighting..hence the detail there and maybe the lack of detail in the character animation. I'm glad you liked it.

I've noticed that some people are having trouble with the site, so here's a direct link to download the movie.
