Hi all,

after posting this in the Cinema 4D Forum, I guess it belongs here too.
We (me and my colleague Holger) just finished this little animation about animation - hope you'll like it:
How to make an animated Movie (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8683020727511417227)

that was awsome!!

I really enjoyed watching it, it`s great how actually not having an idea turns into an idea itself

I don`t know how this would work with people not related to animation but I guess for most of us in this communitiy this is gonna feel so real

I loved the relationship of the character with his own 3d versionm the way the 3d guy reacts when he is naked, the skeleton, the hair and how he request props and clothing, so funny

he`s only missing a geeky mug besides to the computer:)

I am not only convincend about the animation, it feels in some parts too linear and going from pose to pose, but in general it is really fluid

I`d only like to see a higher res version

This is wonderful - both educational and funny! Can you post an xvid or quicktime version?

Thanks. Here's a Quicktime Version (ftp://ftp.maxon.net/pub/web/solutions/howto.mov), unfortunately it has the wrong aspect ratio but I hope they'll fix it eventually

nice...only goes to show you don't need something big and complicated for it to be entertaining.

Hey nice! I like the idea. The animation is a bit stiff at times. Overall, good stuff :D

They will probably hear the 'computers do all the work for you' joke (it WAS a joke right? ;) ) bit and just nod, knowingly.

Good job, not bad. :)

Nice film. Very creative. I did think it was a bit too long though. But it was great.

Cool short! i loved it. It reminded me very much of a history i wrote some time ago about writing histories.

It shows that it was well thought out. I laugh a lot with the part when the narrator said "so, do you want to make your character talk? nooooo..."

Good job
