Hello,
I have been tasked with modeling and animating a proposal for a public art project. As part of this, I need to animate the effect of chaser lights slinking down the edges of a lofted spiral shape, the shape being a rectangle lofted on a modified helix. Is there some script floating around to do something like this? If I were to do it by hand, it would be a laborious nightmare as it involves at least 500 lights.
I have used Ghosttrails before, however this is unsuitable for this project. Any ideas?
