I'll be joining this one. I love DaVinci's works. I'll be working on this one and probably finish off Big Ben after this challenge is over. Wish me luck!

Here's goes my blocking out stage.

I've reworked the base mesh a bit and added hands and feet

just some extra stuff I did in Zbrush. This is my first time making a model using Zbrush, so I hope things go well. Feels a bit weird still though. Wish me luck!!

hi there, are you modeling with symmetry on ?

also it seems like you could have posed the fingers like in the diagram before taking it to zbrush.

I was planning on taking the high res mesh back into Maya later and make it live while modeling a better base mesh to place the displacement and normal map onto it, but thank you for your input. I'm still new with Zbrush, so I don't know how to model with mirror on yet. I still need to find where that is at

for mirror go to "transform" menu and click on X to enable mirror on x-axis:

Looking pretty good, but the Vitruvian mans 6 pack looks very unrealistic to me. How long have you been using z-brush? I've been meaning to try it for quite some time now, but I've had a lot of unsuccess. :(

I've only been able to play with it every so often for several weeks now. Mainly when I'm off of work. It still feels weird to me, and I get lost with the interface a lot, but it's getting a little better. I'll see what I can do with the abs, I see what you are talking about, I'll just look up more reference for it.

Thanks
