Hi, I am trying a light tutorial right now.
There it says: "Set: Turn on "Emit Photons" under Caustic and Global Illumination"

But I just can't find "Caustic and Global Illumination"

i think the mental-ray plugin has to be loaded to show the mental-ray specific attributes

by default this section is in your light shape node

you are right. It is a Mental Ray option.

I was going mad searching for that option.
