Well I modeled my dude yesterday and today I rigged him and did a test animation. Its fairly rusty because I am but I had a lot of fun. My character is an ogre type beast with horns kept simple. I found it hard modeling with segments since I'm not used to it but I think it came out ok. Click Below:

A little update on the second character. I'm planning on having a few of these. They won't be there for long in the story but will give me the opurtunity to work with another type of movement :bounce:

Just a quick update... over did the design process for the model but I need the practice as far as drawing goes. Any critiques are more then welcome. NiGhT

Good so far. I like the animation. To start off, I think that his right arm in the first 12 frames or so "float" into the arms next key pose. You really need to have some slow-in/out, and maybe some secondary from his upper arm to his lower arm, and even onto the hand.
His big hammer loses the illusion of weight due to that massive head versus small and light handle. I love its design, but if you were to really hold a hammer of that size and shape, you'de have to grip it closer to the head, or put some bulk on the bottom of the handle to even out the objects balance.
His upper torso needs to rotate a little more on each step to level out his weight. (IE, when the hips rotate to the left, get the upper body to shift right and put his weight a little back over his centre of gravity)
Finally, his head needs some secondary motion. I can see you havent animated the neck/head yet, but he needs it.
