Hi, All! This is my first walk cycle, and take around 10 days... It began as a normal walk, but sudenly it goes to groovy when I put a double bounce on him!... lol
Any C&C will be welcome!

A new update, I try to fix the legs, animate the fingers, and torso. I fell it s getting the shape, but I m with dificulties to fix hand arcs... (the arms are FK)
I ll apreciate any help. Thanks

hello, I like your walk cycle a lot as it shows a lot of the personality :thumbsup:
the only thing I would suggest is if you are going for a bit of exaggerated style walk, would be nice to have greater upper body movement(the part above his hip area), such as it could lean more toward to left/right to go with it hand movement.:)

i do agree with you about the rigidity

Yeah it's looking good. a few pointers for you though with a walk cycle the leg near enough staightens prior to it's planting your look a bit to bent for me and remember that there are three definate up and down movements in a cycle.
besides these points looking good and full of promise.

DIGICHIU: In orthogonal views, the Lowman seems to have few bounce, but in perspective, it bounces more; and as someone has said, the main is the final camera, so... In previous version of this study, the charactere had a wider torso bounce-movement, but it was too over, and wheird...
richiehope: I ll check and do some tests with the foot, ll post it if I get something interesting. The walk is in 2-bounce (1-soft/1-strong step), is it correct?
The walkcycle has 48 frames, is it adequate? I feel it non smooth, and I dont know precisely why... I started a new version with 42 frames, but now, I ll enter a 60 sec. animation contest, just to learn, so I ll freeze this study for a while.
Any comment are welcome, thanks!

i think the timing is nice on this one, a nice relaxed double bounce.
only thing i would suggest playing with is the spine. try it the other way around -
i think that on the extended position, the spine is so that the chest sticks out. try making the spine on the passing position so that the chest sticks out, then on the extended position you can make the spine curve go the other way. then try and make the head less 'poppy'.
