hello everyone,
i've opened this thread because there are lots of situations where i have to chamfer a few edges, which doesn't work other than creating a few extra edges. here are two pictures of how i've done it.
basically, what i do is loop the edge around the corner and along another chamfer, because i don't like having two edges close and parallel to each other going across a surface that needs to be smoothed when i increase the subdivision level.
plz check out the pics, the one with red lines is just an idea how to do it, i'm just wondering if there's a better way of doing it, and another pic shows a wireframe and my solution to chamfering. u think that's ok?
