the problem
i'm working in rhino and use cm as units (lots of details, thats why cm...). so my model is eg 2000 cm wide...
i try to import that into maya as iges.
i open a new file and set the units to cm... maya imports the model in the correct relation. indeed, it's 2000 units wide.
but if I set the units in maya to meters, the iges model is still imported as 2000 units wide thing (2000m wide) ... it seems that maya does not care of the realtion and "thinks" just in terms of units.
is there a way how to set the relation while importing rhino iges into maya? in this case 1:100? or do I have to change the units in rhino first and than export? - that would be a little anoying.
