Big Xs all over the place

Hey, wondering if someone could help me out.

Ive just come back to a small project Im doing after about a month. Open the file and there are big black Xs over the footage.

Is there a reason for this? I think it might be a plug in issue, although when I remove the effects, its still there. It looks like what you would have over a trial product, but I dont have anything like that. Possibly someone who uses the PC has moved a plugin to another folder?

..Ive got no idea. The effects are nothing special. Ive recently moved houses and the computers been off for a while, but surely that wouldnt affect it...

any help would be appreciated.

No idea beyond that plugin problem. AE itself certainly wouldn't give you this behavior. There should be some scripts out there that can list all effects in a project, maybe you can find the source of your troubles this way.
