Well i just got it today and i started to use it. I made a simple scene, a ball and water pouring over the ball and running off to the floor. As i got the mesh all made up and stuff, i relized that the "water" was bouncing away from the ball befor it even touched the ball, like there was a invisible field around the ball that the water hit first.

Also i made another scene where water poured into a glass. the glass was a cylinder with the top off, just for a quick foolin around, and when the water poured into the cup, it when outside the bottem and sides of the cups, a tiny little bit.

If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know
Thanks alot

Hello,

for the glass you need double "walls" and triangulated I believe...

Er yea .. first of all click on help and open up the help files ... do a search for collision distance.

-Make sure your objects are triangulated quads is no good.

-Next if you are still stuck select your object and und3r particle int3r action play with the collision distance settings.

note- i have only used rf 3 not 4

I want to change my wave shape (realwave control point wave) as explained in the help file:

Shape: The shape of the spectrum wave can be Sinusoidal or Asymmetric. The sinusoidal type uses the standard sinusoidal functions to create the waves. The Asimmetric type creates a more realistic pattern using non-sinusoidal functions.

This new rf4 parameter doesn't seem to exit. Did somebody find it?

By the way, if you feel we need a separate realflow forum you can cast your vote in this poll
