View Full Version : Emit particles based on shaders?
astrofish 01-16-2003, 12:39 AM Is there any way of emitting particles from an object based on surface colour (or other material parameter)?
E.g. probability of particle being emitted from a certain point on the surface proportional to the intensity of the colour channel of that surface...

Thanks guys, I've not used any of those plugins before and they sound like they'll do what I want and a whole load more!

Found the site again:
http://www.remotion.de.vu/
Its German--so you may want to translate it through babelfish or Google language tools.
look under downloads for TDEM
They took down the examples files which really showed how the plugin works--but if you email them they will send them to you.
