Title: Sci-fi hovercar: Type- X
Name: Meelis Sapas
Country: Estonia
Software: Blender, Photoshop

At the beginning this car was just a modeling exercise and a try, to but my imagination to work, to model something from scratch without any ref pictures or scetches, and it turned out better than i expected...

Modeled and rendered in Blender, textures made in Photoshop

Hi resolution image (http://www.asus13.pri.ee/pildid/Sci-fi/hi-re_cifi_final2.jpg)

Some additonal pictures to get the better idea about the car:

It's so gray... Car is not bad, but lights and enviroment could be better. There is no contrast and no shadows. Try to use some kind of studio or HDRI.

I really like the form and design of your hovercar, with the exception of the externally mounted turbine at the rear, it just doesn't seem like it's truly designed to be there, and has a stuck-on appearance rather than being incorporated into the flow of the design.

I agree with Hynol about the overall grayness of the image. What's really killing your composition is that bright yellow warning on the pillar and the rusty barrels. They're the only real bits of color (aside from the signal lamps on the car) and they draw too much attention away from the focus of your image.

Taking the saturation on the yellow warning down a bit and changing the color of the car to something that stands out a bit more would go a long way to really improving this image.

just my 2¢

keep up the good work

I really like the car itself. Nice idea, nice design, good modeling. Congratulations ! The back is awesome !

But I agree about the color and environment. It a bit dull. Your work deserves a better render.

Loveley model I agree withthe crits but I really like the concept. Maybe a deep red woudl make for a better color. Like how it looks from the back.

i actually dont like sci-fi with classic objects instead of wheels you have some sqeezed sphere's...its just you telling a story behind it that will give the illusion this car hovers.might be my taste but i dont like anything thats old .
besides that the model looks nice tho.maybe you can try to intregrate the turbofans into the "wheel" part for a more inventive design.
