CGTalk - Some Creatures

Im spending some time at Ringling and these are a few things I have come up with lately. They are both sketches that I scanned in and colored with Photoshop. I just started the brown one but i will post updates soon. Crits are welcome

Hi Nalyd

With the first one it would be nice to see some variation in the skin colors. For example, maybe his neck and around his facial features could be a lighter color like the underbelly of a reptile and maybe his head could have some unique markings or skin patterns. Do a google search for reptiles or other creatures that inspire you and you may get some good ideas for colors and skin patterns. using a little photo reference will take your images to the next level. hope this helps you.
